• Travel, 13-week contract, Night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care for patients in the IMC/PCU/Stepdown unit, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Perform procedures including glucose monitoring, Foley catheter insertion, dressing changes, EKG interpretation, and peritoneal dialysis management.
• Triage acute care patients and identify life-threatening rhythms to prioritize clinical interventions.
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech electronic health record system.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Adhere to hospital guidelines, policies, and safety protocols, including dress code standards.

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in Tennessee or another state with ability to transmit.
• BLS certification required; ACLS, NIH, and EKG rhythm certification preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent RN experience in acute care, preferably in IMC, PCU, or Stepdown units.
• Demonstrated competency in EKG interpretation and cardiac monitoring.
• Ability to work night shifts and adapt to floating and rotating policies.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with neuro and cardiac patient care.
• Familiarity with advanced equipment such as Alaris Pumps, B450 Monitors, and tele-tracking systems.
• Strong clinical skills in glucose monitoring, dressing changes, and emergency response.
