Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to laboring patients in a Level 2 Obstetric unit.
• Support patient choices and promote vaginal birth opportunities aligned with patient preferences.
• Assist with procedures such as circulating in OR, IUPC, FSE, MgSO4 administration, postpartum hemorrhage management, and use of JADA system and nitrous oxide.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including midwives, CRNA, OB/GYNs, and support staff, to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain documentation in clinical systems and adhere to unit-specific policies and guidelines.
• Contribute to a positive patient experience and promote breastfeeding and family-centered care.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NRP.
• Experience with fetal monitoring and obstetric procedures.
• Ability to float within the unit and to related departments as needed.
• Strong commitment to patient care and teamwork.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with spinning babies techniques and STABLE labor support helpful.
• Familiarity with documentation systems such as CPN and Meditech.
• Prior experience in labor and delivery nursing preferred.
