Key Responsibilities

• Assist with treatment planning and dose calculations for radiation therapy patients.
• Collaborate closely with radiation oncologists, physicists, and therapists to ensure accurate treatment delivery.
• Perform treatment planning using advanced imaging and treatment planning systems, including Varian TrueBeam and Siemens CT simulators.
• Float between multiple clinical sites within the Wilmington area, providing coverage for two different radiation oncology clinics.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain radiation safety standards throughout all procedures.
• Support clinic operations by providing expert dosimetric input and ensuring treatment accuracy.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Dosimetrist.
• Valid NC or Compact radiation license with in-hand credential at start.
• Experience with adult outpatient cancer treatments, including tumor localization, external beam therapy, IMRT, and SBRT.
• Proficiency with treatment planning systems such as ARIA, Eclipse, and related software.
• ARRT T certification required; BLSP preferred.
• Ability to perform chart checks and adhere to radiation safety protocols.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with complex cases such as prostate with fiducials, brain tumors, and lymphomas.
• Familiarity with multi-site coverage and floating between clinics.
• Knowledge of Varian systems, TrueBeam, and Siemens CT simulators.
• Strong understanding of treatment procedures for various cancers including breast, lung, gynecological, and pancreas.
