Schedule / Job Type

• Travel, 13-week assignment, Days shift (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM), 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide standard medical-surgical patient care with a specialized focus in Oncology.
• Administer chemotherapy treatment, ensuring certification requirements are met.
• Perform patient assessments and vital signs every 8 hours, with some remote tele patients monitored every 4 hours.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a positive, team-oriented environment.
• Support unit policies and adhere to protocols regarding chemotherapy handling and patient safety.
• Utilize Meditech electronic health records for documentation and communication using iPhone nursing systems.

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• At least 2 years of medical-surgical nursing experience.
• Chemotherapy certification required.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• Experience with Meditech electronic charting.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Oncology care experience.
• Additional certifications or specialized skills related to chemo administration are a plus.
• Proven ability to work in a team-oriented, positive environment.
• Adaptability to a remote telehealth monitoring setting.
