• Full-time, Night Shifts (3 nights per week, 12 hours each)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care in a low acuity ICU environment, often working independently due to staffing requirements.
• Float between units as needed, maintaining flexibility and adaptability.
• Monitor and support patient vitals, clinical assessments, and emergency responses.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure quality patient care.
• Responsible for managing low-acuity cases, with potential to serve as charge nurse over medical-surgical units.
• Comply with hospital protocols, including accurate documentation and adherence to safety standards.

Required Qualifications

• Valid, active nursing license in the state of Texas; compact license accepted.
• At least 1 year of ICU nursing experience.
• ACLS and PALS certifications.
• Ability to work independently in a low-acuity ICU setting.
• Willingness to work night shifts and weekends as scheduled.
• Must be able to work in a hospital environment with adherence to all safety protocols.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience as a charge nurse in Medical-Surgical units preferred but not required.
• Previous experience working in a trauma center or similar acute care facility.
• Strong ability to float between units and adapt to different patient care needs.
