Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, contract, nights, 3x12-hour shifts per week (6:00 PM – 6:30 AM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care in a Level I Trauma Center, including circulating and scrubbing for general, vascular, cardiac, and endovascular cases
- Assist with on-call responsibilities and possible holiday coverage
- Ensure compliance with all hospital protocols, including radiation badge monitoring and life support certifications
- Document patient care using EPIC charting system
- Adhere to hospital policies during hurricane season and emergency response periods
Required Qualifications
- Valid South Carolina or Multi-State RN license in hand
- BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA
- Radiation badge (to be provided by agency)
- Minimum of 2 years of perioperative nursing experience, including scrub and circulate roles in diverse surgical cases
- Experience with vascular/general cases highly preferred
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience scrubbing vascular and general surgeries
- Ability to work night shifts and adapt to emergency response requirements during hurricane season
- Knowledge of EPIC electronic health record system
