Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, 13-week contract, nights shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care to adult medical-surgical patients in a hospital setting
- Monitor patient vital signs and administer medications as prescribed
- Assist with procedures such as I&Ds, thoracentesis, and peritoneal dialysis
- Document patient assessments and care activities accurately in EMR systems
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Respond to patient needs promptly and ensure safety and comfort
Required Qualifications
- Active VA and Compact State RN license
- 2+ years of recent hospital medical-surgical experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Successful completion of basic rhythm interpretation test
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with telemetry monitoring and rhythm interpretation
- Strong patient-focused care with excellent communication skills
