- Traveling position, 13-week assignment, night shifts (3 days per week), 12.5-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to post-operative and acute medical-surgical patients
- Maintain and monitor drains, perform wound care, and manage dressings
- Utilize EMR systems to document patient care accurately
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure quality patient outcomes
- Advocate for patients' needs while working in a fast-paced environment
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse license
- BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of hospital experience in a medical-surgical unit
- Experience caring for post-operative patients
- Competency in dressing changes, wound care, and drain management
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Familiarity with post-operative patient care procedures
- Experience with Meditech EMR system
- Strong team player with a positive attitude
- Excellent patient advocacy skills
