Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, travel, 13-week assignment, day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in the Progressive Care Unit, focusing on cardiac, medical, and surgical patients.
• Recognize and respond to dysrhythmias and monitor cardiac activity using GE cardiac monitoring equipment.
• Administer medications and IV drips, maintaining critical drip experience.
• Collaborate with a team of RNs and LNA staff to ensure patient comfort and safety.
• Follow unit protocols and policies, including EMR documentation and infection control procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Active Compact RN license
• Minimum of 2 years of hospital experience, specifically in a PCU setting
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Strong dysrhythmia recognition skills and critical drip experience
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with pre- and post-cardiac catheterization and pacemaker patient care
• Prior experience working in HCA facilities
• Knowledge of hospital procedures for Med Surg, ICU, or ED settings
