Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to pediatric patients in a 28-bed PICU setting.
- Support patients with complex medical needs, including respiratory, cardiac, neurology, and post-surgical support.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement patient care plans and support therapies such as ECMO and CRRT.
- Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards.
- Document patient progress accurately in electronic medical records.
- Assist with emergency response during high-acuity situations.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years PICU experience.
- SC RN license or multi-state compact license.
- BLS and PALS certifications (American Heart Association required).
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Ability to float within scope as needed.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with ECMO and CRRT therapies.
- Pediatric palliative care experience.
- Prior travel nursing experience is acceptable.
