• Full-time, nights, 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
• Assist in surgical procedures within the operating room setting
• Prepare and maintain sterile environments and surgical instruments
• Support surgical team with equipment setup and patient positioning
• Ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols
• Collaborate effectively with surgeons, nurses, and staff during procedures
• Adhere to hospital policies and procedures to deliver quality patient care
Required Qualifications
• Minimum of 1+ years of surgical experience, specifically with general surgery, orthopedics, neurology, ophthalmology, and robotics
• Valid BLS and NBSTSA certification
• Radiation badge provided by agency; must be current and provided at start of assignment (MUSC does not provide radiation badges)
• SCR licensure in good standing or pending application
• Ability to work nights and flexible scheduling, including call shifts and weekends
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience working in acute care hospital environments
• Familiarity with Epic charting system
• Previous float experience across service lines and facilities
