Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, night shifts, rotating schedule, every other week (36 or 48 hours)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments of inmates within a secure correctional facility.
• Administer medications, including IV medications, and manage IV pump procedures.
• Draw blood samples and handle other diagnostic procedures.
• Work collaboratively with correctional staff and healthcare team to ensure inmate health needs are met.
• Flex to provide coverage at other facility locations if required.
• Adhere to safety and security protocols within a secure correctional environment.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Experience in hospital and assessment settings.
• Proficient in running medications via IV pump.
• Ability to draw blood and perform diagnostic procedures.
• Comfortable working in a secure correctional environment with restricted access (no cell phones or smart watches).
• Willing to work every other weekend and flexible to float to other facilities as needed.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior correctional health experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
