- Full-time, travel, 13-week assignment, night shift (7 PM - 7 AM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized respiratory therapy care to pediatric patients in a Level III NICU and PICU setting.
- Manage airway and ventilator support, including advanced equipment such as G5, Servo, Avea, HFOV, Jet, V60/V30.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support complex patient needs and ensure optimal respiratory care.
- Document patient progress and treatment details accurately in EMR systems.
- Maintain compliance with unit policies and safety protocols.
- Adapt to float assignment across multiple pediatric critical care units as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Colorado respiratory therapist license.
- ACLS, PALS, BLS, and NRP certifications.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent pediatric critical care experience, including NICU/PICU.
- Experience with ventilator management and airway procedures.
- Ability to work night shifts and support a fluctuating, high-acuity patient population.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working in a Level III NICU and Pediatric ICU environment.
- Familiarity with advanced respiratory equipment and EMR systems such as Meditech.
- Strong clinical skills in airway management and ventilator troubleshooting.
- Flexibility to float across units and adapt to changing patient care needs.
