Job Title

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, night shifts (3x12 hours)

Key Responsibilities
• Provide direct patient care to Medical Surgical unit patients during night shifts.
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and perform phlebotomy as required.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to clinical needs within scope of practice.
• Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient care accurately using Cerner electronic charting system.

Required Qualifications
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Medical Surgical RN experience.
• Active Illinois RN license or in the application process with an ETA.
• BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross).
• Experience with IV therapy, blood product administration, and PICC line management.
• Knowledge of isolation precautions.
• Ability to work night shifts and alternate weekends.
• Must have at least 18 months of RN experience, with exceptions depending on unit.
• Must be local or willing to commute as no radius restrictions apply.
• Background check and compliance requirements completed prior to start.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience in a Level I trauma or acute care hospital setting.
• Certification in advanced patient care skills (e.g., RQI).
• Prior hospital experience with Cerner charting system.
