Full-time, night shifts, 12-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a medical surgical unit with 18 beds, including private and semi-private rooms
• Titrate medications such as Heparin and manage patient diagnoses within the unit
• Collaborate with a team of nurses, PCTs, and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient outcomes
• Monitor telemetry systems, perform patient assessments, and respond to clinical needs
• Follow hospital policies, including holiday and weekend rotations, and utilize hospital resources for patient care

Required Qualifications

• Valid IL RN license with active or demonstrated application process
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred for Charge RN roles
• At least 1 year of hospital experience preferred
• Experience with IV starts, medication titration, and telemetry monitoring
• Last four digits of SSN and middle initial for submission purposes

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a Medical Surgical setting, managing diverse patient populations
• Familiarity with hospital protocols for patient care and medication administration
• Ability to troubleshoot telemetry equipment and support patient needs efficiently
