- Full-time, Night shifts, Travel assignment, 13-week duration
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit
- Assist with vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and postpartum procedures
- Monitor fetal well-being using GE fetal monitors and Novii systems
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure patient safety and comfort
- Document patient care accurately in CPN and Meditech systems
- Maintain bedside shift reports to enhance patient experience and communication
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license and applicable state licensing
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery
- Intermediate fetal monitoring certification (AWHONN preferred)
- Current certifications: BLS, NRP, STABLE, and AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring
- Experience with triage, couplet care, circulating in OR, and procedures such as epidurals and cerclages
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with vaginal deliveries, versions, tubal ligations, and circumcisions
- Ability to work independently without floating policies
- Strong bedside reporting skills and bedside manner
