- Therapist - Respiratory Therapist

Schedule / Job Type
- Travel, 13-week assignment, day shifts, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with respiratory conditions, including asthma, pneumonia, and emphysema
- Operate and monitor respiratory equipment such as Servo I ventilators, CPAP, BIPAP, nebulizers, and ABG analysis
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (Meditech)
- Respond to emergency respiratory needs and assist in critical situations
Required Qualifications
- Current Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care hospital experience as a Respiratory Therapist
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Trauma care experience
- Previous experience working with Meditech EMR system
- Prior work in a high-volume, fast-paced critical care unit
