• LVN / LPN - Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC)

• Full-time, Night shifts (3x12 hours)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide long-term nursing care in a hospital LTAC setting, floating across various specialized units including subacute rehab, memory care, pulmonary care, and ventilator units.
• Assist patients with chronic and acute illnesses, including post-operative, post-stroke, post-cardiac, and wound care needs.
• Recognize individual patient routines and deliver personalized care, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Follow strict attendance policies, including working every other holiday and adhering to facility time and attendance standards.
• Complete required virtual modules on the first day of the contract and annually, maintaining compliance with training standards.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Maryland or Compact license in Nursing (LVN or LPN) at the time of submission.
• Minimum of 1-year experience in a hospital setting; 2 years for HICU experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment, with strong organizational skills.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience caring for ventilator-dependent patients and those with respiratory issues.
• Knowledge of dementia and cognitive impairments for working in memory care units.
• Prior experience floating within hospital units and adapting quickly to different patient care needs.
