Key Responsibilities

• Circulate in Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab procedures, including diagnostic and adult left and right heart catheterizations
• Monitor and manage procedural sedation and dysrhythmias
• Assist with Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz monitoring
• Provide care within a Level I trauma center environment in an acute care hospital setting
• Float within scope to meet facility needs, including coverage at affiliate hospitals if required

Required Qualifications

• Active Illinois RN license in hand at submission
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab procedures
• Experience with diagnostic catheterizations, adult left and right heart catheterizations, and procedural sedation administration and monitoring
• Cerner charting experience
• ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA and Red Cross only)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience interpreting and managing dysrhythmias
• Experience operating within a Level I trauma center setting
• Familiarity with hospital-specific protocols and policies in acute care environments

Additional Notes

• 12-hour day shifts, 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM, working 3 days per week
• Must be comfortable floating within hospital and to affiliate facilities
• RTO requests of no more than 5 days are preferred; flexibility required for holiday shifts and on-call duty
• Travel compliance, background, and fingerprinting requirements must be completed prior to start
• Parking provided at no cost during shifts
