• Full-time, 3x12-day shifts (Days) on weekends only (Saturday, Sunday, Monday block schedules)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide bedside nursing care to patients in a Level I trauma center within an acute care hospital setting.
• Administer blood products, perform peripheral line care, and manage PICC lines.
• Follow strict isolation precautions and ensure patient safety through proper charting using Cerner.
• Float as needed within scope to meet departmental and facility needs.
• Work every other weekend, with flexibility to accommodate block schedules.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' recent medical-surgical nursing experience.
• Active Illinois nursing license or in the process with an ETA for licensure.
• BLS certification required; AHA or Red Cross only.
• Experience with IV therapy, phlebotomy, blood product administration, and PICC line management.
• Ability to work 2 out of 3 major holidays.
• Must be able to work 3 days/week, 12-hour shifts, primarily weekends.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Familiarity with Cerner charting system.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, trauma-level hospital environment.
• Prior experience working in Magnet or teaching hospitals is a plus.
