Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care in the CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room) setting.
• Independently scrub for multiple service lines, including endovascular/hybrid, neuro-spine, ENT, ortho, and robotic surgeries.
• Function as a circulator and scrub nurse, supporting various surgical procedures.
• Float within scope to meet facility needs, primarily between Belleville and nearby campuses.
• Work in a magnet-designated, acute care hospital with a focus on cardiac and advanced surgical services.

Required Qualifications

• Valid state RN license (Illinois or Missouri, with licensing compliant requirements).
• Minimum of 2 years of perioperative nursing experience, with strong cardiac OR competency.
• BCLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Ability to scrub independently in multiple service lines.
• Experience functioning as a circulator role is necessary.
• Must have EPIC charting system experience.
• Must be able to work day shifts starting at 6:45 AM.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in endovascular/hybrid, neuro-spine, ENT, ortho, or robotic surgeries.
• Ability to quickly become independent after orientation, working with surgeon preferences.
• Experience as a scrub and circulator in cardiovascular or hybrid OR environments preferred.
