Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, night shifts, 36 hours per week, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

Key Responsibilities
• Provide nursing care for neuro medical surgical and telemetry patients in a certified Stroke Center and Level IV Epilepsy Monitoring Unit
• Support overflow units for various patient populations, utilizing a diverse skill set
• Perform neurology assessments, basic EKG testing, and monitoring required for Neuro-related diagnoses
• Ensure compliance with all travel, licensing, and certification requirements, including BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and support hospital needs through floating to different units within scope
• Complete mandatory virtual modules on first day of contract and ongoing education requirements

Required Qualifications
• Valid Maryland or Compact state nursing license at the time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of recent telemetry and neurology experience
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
• Basic EKG testing proficiency (provided and required before orientation)
• Ability to work night shifts and every other weekend/holidays

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience in Stroke Centers or Neuro Med/Surg units
• Familiarity with epilepsy monitoring and neuro-specific nursing procedures
• Flexibility to float within the facility and support hospital needs as required
