Key Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy assistant services to patients under supervision
- Assist in implementing treatment plans ordered by licensed therapists
- Support patient recovery and rehabilitation through therapeutic interventions
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment activities
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure quality patient care
- Follow all facility policies and procedures related to patient safety and confidentiality
Required Qualifications
- Valid Florida Physical Therapy Assistant license
- Previous experience as a PTA preferred
- Strong understanding of physical therapy techniques and protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a skilled nursing or healthcare facility preferred
- Bilingual abilities are a plus
