• Full-time, night shift, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care on a 25-bed Medical Surgical unit, including urology and nephrology specialties.
• Float within scope to other Medical Surgical units as needed to meet facility requirements.
• Administer IV therapy, medications, and manage complex patient cases including renal and cardiac monitoring.
• Utilize Cerner electronic charting system; ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols.
• Respond to emergency situations and participate in rapid response teams.
• Complete necessary documentation and maintain professional standards throughout the shift.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Illinois RN license in good standing.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a registered nurse in a hospital setting.
• Current BLS certification.
• Experience with telemetry, IV therapy, and complex patient care procedures.
• Ability to work night shifts and every other weekend.
• Must be able to complete compliance requirements such as background checks, Docusign, and badge photo within one week of start.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in urology, nephrology, or critical care units.
• Familiarity with Cerner or similar EHR systems.
• Knowledge of Hemodialysis pre/post-procedure management.
• Ability to handle trauma or emergency cases in a Level I trauma center.
