Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, contract (13-week travel assignment), nights shift, 12-hour shifts, working 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to ICU patients on a 12-hour night shift basis
• Monitor and operate advanced medical equipment including Phillips monitors, GE EKG machines, Lifepak defibrillators, and others
• Administer treatments such as STEMI and Stroke protocols, conscious sedation, chest tubes, intubation, and code responses
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver compassionate and effective patient care
• Document patient progress accurately in Meditech Expanse EMR system
• Maintain compliance with unit policies and safety protocols

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications
• Minimum of 3 years of recent ICU experience
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong critical thinking and multitasking skills
• Experience with emergency procedures and monitoring equipment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience as a charge nurse or in a supervisory role within ICU settings
• Familiarity with advanced protocols such as STEMI and Stroke management
• Compassionate and adaptable team player
