Speech Language Pathologist Therapist

Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – (CCC)
Primary Purpose:
Provide speech-language therapy services to students with communication disorders, helping them succeed in their educational program.

Position Details:
Location: Moncks Corner, SC
Pay: Starting at $48/hr
Hours: May vary based on location
Schedules: 4 days/wk

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• SC Dept of Education SLP Teaching Licensure
• SC Labor, Licensing & Regulation SLP Licensure
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC)

• Knowledge of assessment tools, therapy strategies, and behavior management
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to meet deadlines
• 1+ year of supervised clinical experience

• Evaluate and provide therapy for students with speech/language disorders
• Develop and implement IEP goals and track student progress
• Participate in ARD meetings and collaborate with teachers and parents
• Provide training to school staff on communication strategies
• Maintain records and ensure compliance with state/federal guidelines
• Supervise SLP assistants when assigned

• Physical demands are restricted to general office activities requiring movement/lifting items weighing up to 35 lbs.
• Routine local travel required. Duties of the job require frequent use of a computer monitor and related equipment.
