Job Title
• Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Schedule / Job Type
• Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, full-time

Key Responsibilities
• Provide specialized nursing care to patients in IMC (Intermediate Care), PCU (Progressive Care Unit), and Stepdown units.
• Float between designated units as needed, delivering consistent patient care across multiple specialties.
• Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and implement physician orders.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Adhere to facility policies, dress code, and safety standards.
• Document patient information accurately and timely.

Required Qualifications
• Valid state nursing license (compact licenses accepted).
• Minimum of 1 year of recent nursing experience in a hospital setting.
• Ability to work night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Certification in basic life support (BLS).
• Adequate background check with no disqualifying hits.
• Acceptance of facility’s policies regarding Nursys or background checks.
• Valid driver’s license within a 50-mile radius is preferred.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience in trauma centers or acute care settings.
• Prior experience working within a hospital’s stepdown or intermediate care units.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills for floating flexibility.
