Key Responsibilities
- Provide pre-, intra-, and post-operative care for patients undergoing cardiovascular procedures in the CVOR.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care using Cerner electronic health record system.
- Participate in on-call duties, including 11 to 12 days per month and weekend rotations.
- Adhere to hospital policies, including compliance with safety, documentation, and certification requirements.
- Complete required training modules prior to start date and throughout assignment as mandated.
Required Qualifications
- Active MO RN license or valid Compact license at time of submission.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a cardiovascular operating room setting.
- Certifications: ACLS and BLS.
- Ability to obtain and maintain local or state-specific clearance and compliance.
- Good standing references (at least one required).
- Ability to float within hospital units as needed.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience with Cerner charting system preferred but not required.
- Experience in a high-volume CVOR environment.
- Familiarity with hospital policies regarding on-call and floating procedures.
