• Full-time, contract, 3x12 rotating shifts (night and day shifts)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in the IMC, PCU, or Stepdown units within a hospital setting.
• Manage and monitor cardiac patients, including rhythm recognition and medication administration.
• Adhere to hospital policies and ensure compliance with safety and credentialing requirements.
• Complete assessments, documentation, and participate in orientation and training.
• Work at least every other holiday as required by hospital needs.
• Follow all travel and licensing compliance procedures, including background checks and assessments.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in the specialty applying for prior to travel.
• Recent cardiac stepdown experience; travel experience acceptable.
• Ohio license or compact state license in hand.
• Active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Ability to recognize ECG rhythms and pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in PCU or progressive care units is preferred but not required.
• Prior travel experience in a hospital setting.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Additional Notes
Candidates must complete necessary background checks, fingerprinting, and modules prior to start. All certifications must be active and current. The facility is a nicotine-free environment, except for nurses and CSTs. Travelers will be expected to work rotating shifts and holidays, with orientation assessments required for all candidates. All submissions require supervisor or managerial references specific to the specialty.
