Full-time, night shifts, rotating weekends and holidays

Key Responsibilities

• Perform assessment, diagnostic testing, prescribed treatment, and patient care for respiratory therapy patients.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of treatments and maintain accurate departmental records.
• Conduct arterial blood gases sampling and analysis.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care in a smaller, slower-paced facility with rapid response capabilities during triage.
• Assist in triaging patients and coordinating transfers to a main hospital.

Required Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts Respiratory Therapist License
• Active RRT certification
• AHA BLS Certification
• NRP Certification
• Ability to draw arterial blood gases

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working with EMR systems
• ACLS certification (preferred)
• Prior experience in a hospital or clinical setting involving respiratory therapy
