Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, 3 shifts per week, Day shifts, 12-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care utilizing the nursing process in an IMC/PCU/Stepdown setting.
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document patient needs and responses.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team to coordinate care.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, following protocols.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and education on discharge needs.
• Supervise and support LPNs and non-licensed assistive personnel.

Required Qualifications

• Valid State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License.
• BLS and ACLS certifications through American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or American Health & Safety.
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in an 18-plus bed telemetry/progressive care unit.
• Successful completion of at least one 13-week travel assignment.
• Ability to pass a Basic Cardiac Arrhythmia (BCA) test onsite prior to start.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Epic EMR system.
• Flexibility to float between departments and locations within 20 miles.
