Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality echocardiograms and ultrasound procedures in inpatient, outpatient, and emergency care settings.
• Operate GE Vivid E95 and Philips CVX ultrasound equipment for resting, stress, and TEE studies.
• Attend initial orientation sessions and adhere to procedural and safety standards.
• Document procedures accurately and maintain thorough patient records in the electronic medical record system.
• Provide exceptional patient care, ensuring comfort and safety during imaging procedures.
• Work in a fast-paced environment covering the OR, cath lab, and EP lab as needed.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 4 years of clinical cardiac ultrasound experience as a Registered Cardiac Sonographer.
• Performed at least 4,000 echocardiograms.
• Valid credentials: RCS-CCI or RDCS-ARDMS.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Graduate of an accredited program in cardiac ultrasound/echocardiography.
• Training or certification in IV and UEA contrast administration.
• Neonatal echo experience (plus but not required).
