Job Title

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, Contract, Travel, Nights shift (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), 13-week assignment

Key Responsibilities
• Provide high-quality intensive care to critically ill patients in the ICU setting.
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions utilizing Meditech charting system.
• Administer medications, perform procedures such as intubations, central lines, and NG tubes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and unit guidelines.
• Maintain accountability for patient safety, documentation, and proper equipment use.

Required Qualifications
• Active Texas RN license (TEMP license not accepted).
• Minimum of 2 years ICU experience, with strong critical thinking skills.
• BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Certification.
• Good understanding of hospital procedures including chest tubes, trachs, GI scopes, and dressings.
• Ability to float within hospital policies.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• MICU & MSICU background highly preferred.
• Experience with Meditech charting and order entry.
• Advanced ICU skills and unit-specific certifications.
