Job Title
• Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Schedule / Job Type
• Travel, 13-week contract, nights shift

Key Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive nursing care to Emergency Department patients in a high-acuity environment
• Perform assessments, triage, and prioritize patient care according to ESI guidelines
• Administer medications, perform IV insertions, EKGs, and wound care procedures
• Assist with trauma and cardiac emergencies, including STEMI, stroke, and sepsis cases
• Support patient transport, documentation, and coordination for higher levels of care
• Follow infection control protocols and maintain accurate documentation in Meditech EMR

Required Qualifications
• Minimum of 5 years of recent ER experience in a high-acuity setting
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (TNCC preferred)
• Strong triage, critical thinking, and trauma care skills
• Experience with trauma and acute care procedures
• Ability to work night shifts and adapt to fast-paced environment

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience with Meditech documentation system
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred)
• Experience with care of STEMI, stroke, and sepsis patients
