Schedule / Job Type

• Travel, 13 weeks; Day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM); 3 shifts per week; On-site

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to emergency department patients in a high-acuity setting.
• Administer medications, perform IV insertions, EKGs, wound care, and assist with procedures such as intubation and sedation.
• Monitor and assess patients, prioritize triage based on ESI guidelines, and coordinate patient transport for higher levels of care.
• Respond to code situations including CPR, rapid sequence intubation, and trauma alerts.
• Document patient care accurately in Meditech EMR system and maintain infection control protocols.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure timely and effective patient care.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years recent experience in a high-acuity Emergency Department.
• Valid BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications.
• Strong triage, critical thinking, and trauma/cardio alert experience.
• Ability to handle STEMI, stroke, sepsis, trauma, and behavioral health cases.
• Experience with Meditech documentation system preferred.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required.
