Location: Garfield Heights, OH

Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Night shift (3x12-hour shifts)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to adult medical surgical and telemetry patients.
• Recognize and interpret ECG rhythms accurately.
• Administer medications and treatments per protocol.
• Document patient care activities thoroughly and accurately.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure quality patient outcomes.
• Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 18 months recent, permanent Medical Surgical Telemetry experience prior to travel.
• Valid Ohio license or Compact State license in hand.
• BLS and ACLS certifications active and current.
• Willingness to obtain NIHSS certification prior to start.
• One recent reference from a manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty.
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Charge nurse experience preferred.
• Experience with hospital-based telemetry monitoring.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen.
• Knowledge of hospital electronic medical record systems.
