- Full-time, travel position, days shift, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy evaluations, establish plans of care, and contribute to patient care rounds and conferences.
- Assist in patient treatment in various settings including rooms, hallways, outdoor areas, and rehab gym.
- Communicate frequently with the rehab team regarding patient progress, equipment needs, and discharge planning.
- Float between acute, swing beds, nursing home, and outpatient services as needed.
- Maintain documentation in Cerner and NetHealth systems according to hospital policies.
Required Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina Physical Therapy license
- CPR certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in hospital and/or nursing home settings
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a hospital and/or nursing home environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with healthcare teams
