Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to critically ill ICU patients in a high-acuity environment.
• Administer medication titrations, including vesicant meds and pressors, following protocols.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry and hemodynamics, including PA catheter setup and interpretation.
• Perform procedures such as cardioversion, chest tube insertions, central line placement, and more.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and compliance with care standards.
• Document patient care accurately using the Cerner system and adhere to hospital policies.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in North Carolina or the ability to obtain one.
• ICU experience, with proficiency in vent management, telemetry, and hemodynamic monitoring.
• Experience with titration of vesicant medications, pressors, sedation, and paralytics.
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts on a 3-shift per week schedule.
• Knowledge of ICU equipment including ventilators, IABP, Impella, and CRRT preferred.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• CCRN certification or equivalent critical care credential preferred.
• Experience with advanced procedures such as transvenous pacing, echocardiography, or thoracentesis.
• Familiarity with IABP, Impella, and CRRT devices is a plus.
• Strong understanding of hemodynamics and ability to interpret complex patient data.
