Key Responsibilities
• Provide specialized nursing care for orthopedic patients in a fast-paced hospital environment.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
• Assist during orthopedic surgeries and post-operative recovery.
• Educate patients and their families regarding post-discharge care and rehabilitation.
Required Qualifications
• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina or the ability to obtain one.
• Minimum of 2 years of orthopedic nursing experience.
• Strong knowledge of orthopedic procedures and patient care standards.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Excellent communication and clinical skills.
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience with surgical recovery and post-operative management.
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred.
• Certification in orthopedic nursing or related specialty is a plus.
