- Travel, Night shifts, 13-week assignment, onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care for orthopedic patients in a busy hospital unit.
- Perform procedures such as dressing changes, suture/staple removal, Foley catheter management, NG tube care, and wound vac maintenance.
- Monitor patient progress and document using Cerner EMR.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure safe and effective patient care.
- Adhere to unit policies and safety protocols, including dress code and certification requirements.
Required Qualifications
- North Carolina RN license.
- BLS certification.
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience.
- Previous orthopedic or medical-surgical experience preferred.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Hospital experience in a trauma or orthopedic unit.
- Experience with wound care and post-operative procedures.
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
