• Travel, Night shifts, 13-week assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a 23-bed step-down and 16-bed med-surg units, handling stable vented patients, chest tubes, trach care, and wound dressing changes.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver high-quality nursing care across medical-surgical and progressive care units.
• Document patient assessments, treatments, and progress in the electronic medical record (Cerner).
• Demonstrate flexibility and high clinical competence to adapt to unit needs and patient conditions.
• Maintain compliance with unit policies, safety protocols, and dress code (navy blue scrubs).

Required Qualifications

• At least 2 years of nursing experience in a hospital setting.
• Experience working with patients requiring trach care, chest tubes, and wound dressings.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Ability to float to other med-surg and progressive care units as needed.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with Cerner electronic medical record system.
• Strong clinical skills and adaptability to various patient care scenarios.
