Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic assessments and develop treatment plans to support patient habilitation and rehabilitation.
• Provide comprehensive occupational therapy services primarily in skilled nursing facilities and inpatient settings, with outpatient care also available.
• Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) systems, specifically Meditech, to document patient progress and treatment plans.
• Work collaboratively with healthcare teams to deliver high-quality therapy services.
• Be available to work shifts, including weekends and holidays, based on hospital operational needs.
• Participate in 24/7 service coverage as required.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Hawaii State Occupational Therapy license must be obtained prior to start date; candidates not currently licensed must apply immediately upon acceptance.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience providing therapy services to adult patients in settings such as acute care, SNFs, rehab hospitals, or outpatient clinics.
• BLS certification.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including possible weekend coverage.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in inpatient, outpatient, or rehabilitative care environments.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, particularly Meditech.
• Flexibility to adapt to shifting schedules, including weekends and holidays.
