Job Title

• IR / Special Procedures Technician

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, 10-hour day shifts, 4 days per week, including weeknight, weekend, and holiday call responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in IR and special procedures within a lab with 6 pre-op and phase 2 recovery suites.
• Prepare and set up procedural rooms, pass supplies, and assist during cases.
• Support vascular, neuro, drains, and line procedures with an average of 20-30 cases per day.
• Operate and monitor EPIC EMR system and Phillips monitors.
• Maintain sterile environments and ensure proper documentation during procedures.
• Collaborate with the Charge RN and follow department protocols.

Required Qualifications

• ARRT certification.
• BLS certification.
• Active Illinois license or confirmed application process.
• Understanding of IR procedures and sterile techniques.
• Ability to produce negative drug screens, as OSF is a drug-free campus.
• Last four digits of SSN and middle initial for submission.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in interventional radiology or special procedures labs.
• Familiarity with Phillips monitors and EPIC EMR system.
• Experience with vascular, neuro, drains, or lines patient care.
