Key Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care in the operating room for various surgical specialties.
- Assist with patient prep, intraoperative support, and post-operative care, ensuring safety and compliance.
- Float to other ORs as needed at the First Hill Campus, adapting to different surgical environments.
- Maintain current certifications such as BLS and ACLS; CNOR preferred.
- Ensure adherence to hospital protocols and standards for infection control and patient safety.
- Collaborate effectively with surgical teams, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of operating room experience.
- Valid Washington state license or compact license for active practice.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Ability to float to different OR units at the First Hill Campus.
- Experience with thoracic and vascular surgeries, capable of independent call.
- Flexibility to work day shifts with potential call requirements, including weeknights and weekends.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- CNOR certification is highly preferred.
- Experience with robotics, urology, gynecology, bariatrics, minor vascular, plastics, and thoracic cases.
- Strong knowledge of OR protocols, patient safety, and sterile techniques.

Travel Compliance & Prescreening
- All candidates must provide proof of current license, certifications, and proof of local residence within 50 miles of the facility.
- All necessary prescreening steps, including questionnaire, references, and compliance documentation, must be completed prior to submission.
- Candidates must be available for interviews with at least three time slots, and confirm their availability.
- Reliable transportation is required, and scheduling needs must be met without major accommodation requests.
- All onboarding modules must be completed within 72 hours of offer acceptance.
