- Full-time, Night shifts, 13-week travel assignment, on-site
Key Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care to adult patients in a telemetry unit.
- Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry data, respond promptly to changes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Ensure accurate documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
- Adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control protocols.
- Assist in preparing patients for procedures such as endoscopy, IR, and surgery as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in the state of North Carolina or applicable state license.
- BLS certification (Basic Life Support).
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in telemetry or med-surgical units.
- Proficiency in using remote telemetry monitoring systems.
- Strong communication and team-oriented skills.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous charge nurse or leadership experience.
- BSN degree.
- Experience with Cerner EMR system.
- Knowledge of advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) is a plus.
