Job Title
- Tech - Nuclear Medicine
- Palestine, TX
- Full-time, days, 5 days per week, 8.5 hours per shift
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals and other medications to patients under physician orders.
- Perform diagnostic studies using nuclear medicine techniques.
- Receive, record, and handle radiopharmaceuticals following safety protocols.
- Conduct daily and weekly quality control dose testing.
- Process and analyze digital images, ensuring data accuracy and image quality.
- Utilize advanced computer systems to process images and record patient information.
- Evaluate images for technical quality and calibration of instrumentation.
- Perform stress tests such as Stress Echo and treadmill procedures alongside cardiologists or ACLS-certified RNs.
- Cleans and maintain work areas and imaging rooms to ensure a safe and sterile environment.
- Minimum of 3 years recent Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience in a hospital setting.
- ARRT Certification in Nuclear Medicine or CNMT Registration (must be attached to submission).
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (must be attached).
- Experience with GEHC NM Infinia, NEMIS, and Xeleris 5.0 equipment.
- Familiarity with Stress Echo and treadmill testing.
- Previous experience working closely with cardiologists or ACLS-certified RNs.
