Night shift, 3x12 hours (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care in the Labor and Delivery unit at a major hospital facility.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, including fetal and maternal health, ensuring safety and compliance with clinical protocols.
• Perform scrub and circulating duties for labor, delivery, and postpartum procedures.
• Recognize and interpret ECG rhythms, and administer medications as per protocol during shift.
• Complete assessments such as safeMedicate and ECG rhythm recognition during orientation with acceptable scores.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver excellent patient-centered care.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent labor and delivery experience prior to travel deployment.
• At least 2 years of recent Level III or IV labor and delivery experience, including scrub and circulating roles.
• Valid Ohio license or Compact State license in hand at time of submission.
• Active BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications.
• Ability to work at least every other holiday.
• Successful completion of orientation assessments (ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate).
• Passing scores on both assessments; candidates have two attempts.
• Successful completion of BG and drug screens within required timeline.
• FBI/BCI background checks completed within 48 hours of contract signing.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Travel experience in labor and delivery units.
• Experience working with electronic documentation systems such as Qualivis Lotus.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting.
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
