Schedule / Job Type
Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift, approximately 3 shifts per week; includes every other weekend, voluntary call, and floating to other units/departments

Key Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic respiratory care to all patient populations, ensuring careful review and maintenance of care plans
• Perform patient evaluations and adjust treatment as needed for optimal outcomes
• Assist in delivery of care during high-risk deliveries and distressed newborn situations, including attending C-sections
• Operate and monitor respiratory care equipment such as Servo ventilators, BIPAP (V-60, Vision), Airvo, MetNeb, Neo-Tee, and related devices
• Utilize Epic EMR for charting, medication and supply utilization scanning, and documentation
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care in a 250-bed hospital with a 12-bed ICU

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Credentialed Respiratory Care Practitioner
• Adult intubation skills required
• Valid licensure and certifications:
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) through AHA
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) through AHA
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credentials

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a hospital setting, particularly with neonatal and adult respiratory care
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR system and department-specific protocols
