Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical/Tele

Schedule / Job Type:

Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), contract position

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients in a hospital setting
• Recognize and interpret ECG rhythms; administer medications and treatments safely
• Complete Epic charting accurately and timely
• Adhere to facility policies, including holiday shifts and compliance requirements
• Participate in orientation assessments such as ECG recognition and safeMedicate
• Manage patient care within the scope of a registered nurse license

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 18 months recent, permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience prior to travel
• Current Ohio or Compact state RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications active and valid
• Recent (within 6 months) Epic charting experience
• References from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director from the past 12 months
• Ability to pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation
• Willingness to work at least every other holiday
• Ability to complete finger prints (BCI/FBI) within 48 hours of contract signing

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Recent charge RN experience preferred
• Experience with ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety assessments
• Understanding of hospital workflows and compliance standards
• Experience with Lotus and Qualivis systems for submission and tracking
