Key Responsibilities
- Provide speech language therapy services to clients in accordance with their treatment plans
- Assess communication, speech, and language skills, and develop individualized therapy programs
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate treatment records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support client needs
- Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare and safety regulations
- Deliver therapy sessions typically lasting 8 hours per shift
Required Qualifications
- Valid state license or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Proven experience in providing speech and language therapy services
- Strong understanding of speech and language disorder assessment and treatment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build rapport with clients and multidisciplinary teams
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience working in a clinical or school setting
- Familiarity with documentation and electronic health records systems
